Running Dog Addiction

Running Dog Addiction was a breath of fresh air to the true working dog man. Up until this book arrived on the scene we had only pictures of rabbits and the odd hare together with the “usual” lurcher shows pics to satisfy our hunting thirst and most of the books were quite boring, filled with chapters on breeding, feeding and the inevitable “recipes”.

So, what is “Running Dog Addiction”?  A 190 page hardback book that absolutely oozes quality. The cover is laminated for years of hard thumbing and a fine gold embossing can be found down the spine of the book. Inside we have many articles from good dog lads, telling us true tales about “fox killing lurchers”  “Deer Poaching” “Beating deer out of cover” “Bagging a huge Sika Stag”, “lamping Foxes with Bull crosses” a profile of Alan Sankeys amazing coursing dogs and many more top-class articles, each illustrated with many unique photographs.

But that’s not all; there are also two sections of full colour pictures that are really something else. A study of a rough-coated lurcher just moments after killing a fine January vixen in the crisp frost, Blue hares being carried back to hand, a 100lb fallow doe that was pulled single handed, and  a seven picture photo sequence of a lurcher taking a fox. These are just samples of what can be found within.

You will not be disappointed.
